A week of riding, connection, and everything in between — in the heart of the Hoge Kempen.

Once a year, we open the Bornehoeve to two small, intimate groups of eight riders. No crowds. Just a week of intensive work in a setting that feels more like home than a training centre.

You arrive on Sunday evening and leave the following Saturday. In between, you ride every day — in lessons, in training rides, and through the beautiful trails of the Hoge Kempen. And every evening, we sit down together for dinner.
Maximum eight riders. That is not a detail. That is the whole point.

Daily lessons
Each morning, all eight horse-and-rider combinations work in lessons guided by Jossy. Personal attention, immediate feedback, and steady progress throughout the week.
Training rides & trail rides
Every afternoon brings a training ride followed by a trail ride through the Hoge Kempen. We ask that riders are comfortable in all three gaits — but no one is left behind. Jossy adapts to every horse and rider in the group.
Stabling for your horse
Hay, straw, and water are provided throughout the week. Feeding and paddock care remain your own responsibility — because nobody knows your horse better than you do.
All meals
Breakfast every morning. Lunch every day. Dinner every evening. And a welcome dinner with aperitif on Sunday night. Home-cooked, at a shared table.
Chalet accommodation
Stay in one of our chalets — up to four guests per chalet, just five minutes by car from Bornehoeve.

Not twelve. Not sixteen. Eight. That means real attention, real connection, and a week that actually changes something.
