The round shanks are fixed shanks and do NOT move independently; therefore they do NOT come into contact with the horse's skin. You must ride your horse with one hand; riding with both hands has no effect.

The aim is to create a more supple neck base so that the horse develops the correct muscles and has a better neck posture. The Cavemore is not designed to improve control.
These shanks are similar to a curb or a kandare.
